This update to the driver app makes the end of the day simpler. Drivers can record what they spent, count the cheques in the bag, and see exactly what happened to their last cash-ups, while cheques and bank transfers are clearer at every stop.
A cash-up that adds up
Add spend: The open cash-up has an Add spend button for cash spent on the road, with category, amount, tax, who it was paid to, a note and a receipt photo, so it comes off what should be in the bag.
Short or over, worked out properly: Short or over is now measured against the cash collected less what was spent on the road, and the counted cash starts at that figure.
Count the cheques: When the cash-up holds cheques, they show as their own line with a “Cheques handed over” count that says “All handed over”, “1 missing” or “1 extra” as you type.
Your recent cash-ups: Below the open cash-up, drivers see their last five closed cash-ups and what happened to each one.
The office’s count: Recent cash-ups show what the office counted, cash and cheques, with “You said” beside it when the driver’s figure was different.
Cheques and transfers, clear at the stop
Cheque number and date: Record payment asks for the cheque number and date when the method is Cheque, and a later date is marked as post-dated.
Cheques go to the right place: Cheque payments go to Cheques in hand by default.
Bounced cheque warning: The stop screen warns when the customer’s last cheque bounced, with the date and amount, and the record payment sheet repeats it when Cheque is picked.
Recent payments at the stop: A Recent payments list shows the customer’s latest payments, with bounced and void ones marked and struck through.
Transfers that wait for the bank: Choosing Transfer on Record payment explains that it waits until the office confirms it, and payments show as Awaiting bank or Not received until then.
Smaller things that save time
This week means your week: The This week figures on the sales summary and the finance home now follow your business week.
Delivered order notes: Amending a delivered order says which day it was delivered and until when changes will still adjust stock.
Quicker stock adjustments: The adjust sheet now opens on Add or remove, at a warehouse row.
Your currency and tax name: Amounts and tax wording follow your business’s own currency and tax name.
Bug Fixes
Retry Mark delivered without signing again: If confirming a delivery fails, Retry resends the same signature, photo and location, and a lost connection can no longer record the delivery twice.
Goods received without a bill: A receipt now says “Waiting for the supplier’s bill” instead of naming a draft bill.
Receiving without an order: “No order” is now only offered to people who are allowed to receive goods without a purchase order.
