This release is about stock you can trust and less chasing. Orders can now mark themselves delivered, goods can come in without a purchase order and be billed together later, and you can export your stock and put a count back in one step.
Orders that deliver themselves
Mark orders delivered automatically: A new card on Settings, Stock marks your confirmed orders delivered a set number of days after their delivery day, once a day at about the time you choose, so stock you have already sent out stops sitting as allocated.
Run now, with a preview: You can run automatic delivery straight away and see exactly which orders it will mark delivered before it does anything.
Orders on a round are left alone: Automatic delivery skips any order that is on a planned or running route, so drivers still close those from the route as usual.
A new Automations page: Settings, Automations lists your automations, every run, and what each run did, including any order it could not deliver and why.
Goods in, bills out, the way suppliers actually work
Receive without PO: You can now record a delivery that nobody ordered, with the supplier’s delivery note number, the warehouse and the lines, from Purchasing or from the supplier’s page.
Awaiting bill: A receipt no longer creates its own draft bill, it waits under Awaiting bill until the supplier’s invoice arrives.
One bill from several deliveries: Tick the receipts an invoice covers on the Goods Received list and create one draft bill for all of them, dated from the latest delivery.
Clearer receipt lists: The Goods Received lists now show the delivery note, the amount still to bill, and filters for billing status and source, including Awaiting bill.
Void a receipt: A receipt keyed by mistake can be voided while nothing has been billed from it, and its stock goes back.
Supplier list with balances: The supplier list now matches the customer list, with Unallocated, Overdue and Net Balance columns, more in the column chooser, and Record Payment and New Bill on each row.
Stock you can check and put right
Export your stock: The Stock page has an Export button that downloads every warehouse and van row with on hand, allocated and available, all taken at the same moment.
Set to counted quantity: The stock import can now set each row to what you counted, not just add to it, and it shows now, counted and the change for every row before anything is applied.
Bigger imports: A stock import can now take up to 10,000 rows, and row numbers in any message match the rows in your file.
See why stock is allocated: Click the Allocated figure on the stock tables to see the orders holding it.
Simpler stock entry: The stock adjustment window always opens on Adjust by, and Quick Add is now Add Stock for a product that has no stock yet.
A cleaner order screen
Lines first: A saved order now shows its lines in the main area with its details in a side panel, and the total stays in view at the bottom.
The same layout while editing: New orders, drafts and amendments use the same layout, with the less used fields tucked under More details.
Know when corrections stop moving stock: The order screen tells you the day it was delivered and the last day a correction will still change stock.
A clearer setting: The stock correction setting is now called When corrections still change stock, and it shows a worked example using today’s date.
