This release is about money coming back from the road. Cash-ups, cheques and bank transfers each get proper tools in the office, so what the driver collected and what reached the bank always add up. Vans, deliveries and products get a good round of improvements too.
Cash-up, rebuilt for the office
A clearer Cash-up page: The page now opens with figures for what needs doing, a tab for each stage with counts, filters for driver, date and search, and an Age column that turns amber after two days.
Tabs in the order a cash-up moves: The tabs run Open, Awaiting approval, Reconciled, Rejected and All, and each one says on hover what it holds.
Grouped by payment method: The cash-up window shows one tile per method (cash bag, cheques, bank transfers, card) plus Total collected, and clicking a tile filters the list to that method.
Approve part of a cash-up: You can tick the payments to approve, and anything left unticked goes back to the driver’s open cash-up.
Count the cash yourself: Approving now asks for Cash counted, filled in with the driver’s figure, and tells you as you type whether it is balanced, over or short.
Count the cheques too: When a cash-up holds cheques, the Approve window asks for the cheques counted and says whether they are all there.
Nobody counted the cash: If the bag was not counted, tick “Nobody counted the cash” to approve it, and it shows as Not counted in amber instead of looking short.
Add spend: The “Spent on the road” section can record a cash expense straight into a cash-up, so money the driver spent comes off what should be in the bag.
Fix it before you approve: You can edit or discard a waiting payment, with a reason, and add one the driver missed, and each row says who added or changed it.
Duplicate warnings: A waiting payment that looks like it was also entered directly in the office is flagged, so it is not counted twice.
Tidy up for the driver: You can submit a cash-up the driver left open, and close one with nothing left to post.
Print any cash-up: Every cash-up has a Print button, with the business header, who handled it, every payment with its status, the money spent on the road, and lines for the driver and the checker to sign.
See any week or month: The Short, Not counted and Posted figures follow a Week or Month picker, and clicking one opens the list for the same period.
Never miss one waiting: The sidebar item shows how many cash-ups are awaiting approval, and the dashboard says “Cash-up needs a look” when one has waited two days or drivers are short.
Clear status on every payment: Each posted payment in the cash-up window carries a chip, Posted in green or its real status, such as Awaiting bank, in amber or red.
Saved to cash-up, not lost: When your payments go through cash-up, the payment form now warns you up front and confirms with “Saved to cash-up”, so nobody enters the same payment twice.
Cheques, tracked from the bag to the bank
Cheque register: Treasury has a new Cheques tab listing cheques in hand, post-dated, paid in, bounced and void, with a count for each.
Pay in a batch: Tick the cheques in hand and press Pay in to move them to a bank account as one deposit, with a printable paying-in list that matches the bank slip.
Cheque number and date: The payment form and the cash-up payment window ask for the cheque number and date, and a cheque goes to the Cheques in hand account by default.
Post-dated cheques stand out: Picking a later cheque date shows an amber note saying the date it can be paid in from.
Cheques ready to bank: The dashboard tells you when cheques can be paid in today.
Mark bounced or void: From the Payments list or a customer’s Transactions tab you can mark a paid-in cheque bounced, with the bank’s charge and a charge to the customer, or void a payment.
Bounced cheque charges set once: Settings, Invoicing, Bounced cheques holds your default charges and the tax rate used for the charge.
Statements show it: A bounced cheque appears on the customer’s statement as a returned line.
Know who bounced last: A customer’s page warns you when their last cheque bounced.
Payments that say what they are: Payment rows on Treasury, the customer Transactions tab and the cash-up show the cheque number and date, or the transfer reference, without opening the payment.
Bank transfers you confirm against the statement
Transfers wait for the bank: A customer’s bank transfer can now wait as Awaiting bank until you see it on your bank statement, so the account only changes when the money really arrives.
To confirm tab: Treasury has a To confirm tab, oldest first, where you tick transfers and Confirm them with the date they arrived, or mark them Not received.
Already in the bank: People allowed to confirm transfers can tick “Already in the bank” on the payment form to skip the wait.
Match from your bank feed: For review can confirm a waiting transfer against a bank statement line.
Nothing forgotten: The customer page shows money awaiting the bank, and the dashboard tells you when transfers have waited two days.
Your choice: The setting lives under Settings, Invoicing, Bank transfers.
Vans, loading and deliveries
Say where the stock comes from: Mark Delivered asks where the stock should come from when an order would come off a van nobody loaded, and every other order is still one click.
Correct it afterwards: A delivered order has a Change link to fix where its stock came from, with a warning if that place has been counted since.
Load van from the Vehicles tab: The Vehicles tab has Load van in each row menu, and the Load van window can unload a single order and pick a delivery date.
Mark past orders delivered, rebuilt: The window shows figures, a “Due on or before” date, a warning for orders that would run short with a “Leave them out” option, and every order to search, sort and untick, and orders on a past route are delivered through their route.
Corrections after delivery in one place: The window for changing a delivered order now sits under Settings, Stock, and the automatic delivery controls sit only under Settings, Automations.
Products and brands
Brands: The Products page has a Brands tab where you can add, edit, make inactive and remove brands, and each brand’s product count opens its products.
Brand on every product: Products show a Brand column and filter, and the product form has a brand picker that can add a new brand on the spot.
Pick several at once: The Category, Sub Category and Brand filters each take several choices, with a cross to clear them, and the export follows your filters.
Better product imports: The import takes Sub Category and Brand columns, lists the brands it will add, and has a “Fix text exported from a website” option for text copied from an old site.
Exports that import cleanly: The product export writes category, sub category and brand as separate columns.
Your week, your way
Business week ends on: Set the day your trading week ends under Settings, Business details, Regional.
Reports follow your week: The dashboard’s weekly sales bars and Treasury’s This week and Last week now use your business week.
Quick ranges on Daily Collections: Today, This week, Last week and This month sit above the dates.
Treasury that is easier to search
Search every tab: Bank Accounts, Payments and Credit Notes each have search, a date range and a customer or supplier picker, and pressing / jumps to the search box.
Credit notes show what they paid: The Invoice column on Credit Notes shows the invoices a note was applied to, and you can search by them.
Back where you were: Opening a customer or supplier from Treasury and pressing back returns you to the same Treasury tab and search.
Smaller things that save time
Why stock changed: The Movements tab has a Reason column, such as Opening stock, Stock count or Damage, and it names the order for van loads.
A reason on Quick Add Stock: Quick Add Stock has a Reason box and an optional note.
Sales orders fit a laptop: The sales orders table keeps its actions on the right, merges the delivery and order dates into one column, and keeps every row the same height.
Orders open in place: Opening an order from the allocated orders window shows it on top, and closing it brings you straight back.
Keyboard entry when receiving: Enter and the arrow keys move between lines when receiving goods without a purchase order.
Faster goods received list: The goods received list loads much faster for businesses with a long receiving history.
Tax rate types: Settings, Tax rates now shows and edits each rate’s type.
Your currency and tax name: Screens and printed documents use your business’s own currency and tax name, shown under Settings, Business details, Regional.
Plain error messages: When an email or report export fails, you now see the reason, such as a missing business email, instead of a code.
Bug Fixes
Cash payment terms: A customer or supplier on 0 days now gets a due date on the document date, not 30 days later.
Bill due dates: Changing the date of a saved bill now moves its due date too.
Receive Goods: The Warehouse field always names a real warehouse, so the window shows where stock is going.
Supplier weekly grid: Products received from a supplier but missing from their product list now get a row on the grid, and long product codes are no longer cut off.
Supplier balance: The supplier summary no longer reads high once a credit note has been fully used.
Supplier statement: The opening balance now counts unallocated payments and credit notes by their own dates.
Stock Levels: A row with stock allocated no longer disappears when Show empty is off.
Product import categories: A new product whose sub category is not found now goes into its main category with a warning, instead of having no category.
Stock import dates: Stock imports now read dates the way Excel saves them, and the preview flags any date it cannot read.
New vans in route forms: A van you have just added shows up in route forms without a refresh.
Empty new invoice: Closing a new invoice you have not touched no longer asks about unsaved changes.
Pickup stops: A stop where every order is a pickup now says Mark collected.
Inactive vans: A route whose van has been made inactive no longer offers Load van, and says why.
Orders that sell from the van: The Load van window now explains that these orders are already on the van, instead of looking broken.
Warehouse below zero: The Load van window now says when a warehouse is already below zero, instead of saying it has 0.
Transfer statuses: A customer’s Transactions tab shows Awaiting bank and Not received instead of Open, and the payment windows opened there name the customer.
Cash-up payment account: In the cash-up payment window, Paid into now follows the payment method, and Cheques in hand is only offered for cheques.
Cash-up print: Long payment notes now print in full instead of being cut off.
Cash-up checks: A cash count below zero is refused with a plain message, and the reject window reads properly for a single waiting payment.
Number settings: A number setting now shows the value it actually saved straight away.
Due on or before: A date past the latest allowed day now comes back to that day, so the box always shows the date in use.
Strict delivery wording: “Block delivering when stock is short” now says it checks the stock on hand, not Available.
Warehouse settings: The default warehouse shows “Auto (most stock)” instead of a blank field.
Price fields: Price boxes now fit currency symbols longer than one letter.
Daily Collections: The filters now line up on one row.
Consistent messages: Every confirmation message now has the same look.
