Price Approval is an optional feature that allows to control and review price changes before they take effect. It helps prevent mistakes, ensures pricing consistency, and adds an extra layer of oversight for sensitive price updates.
Why Use Price Approval?
- To ensure price changes are reviewed and approved before going live.
- To avoid accidental price updates by users without ApproveCustomerPrices authority.
How to Enable Price Approval (Admin only):
1. From the main menu, navigate to Control Panel > System Variables, then type yes or no in the ‘AutoApproveCustomerPrices’ setting based on your preference.
How it works:
Go to the Pending Price Changes Window on the lower left hand side of the Main Menu screen.
There are Three Available Options for Approving Price Changes:
Per User
- Approve all pending price changes submitted by a specific user in bulk.
Per Customer
- Approve all pending price changes related to a specific customer at once.
Per Customer/Product
- Approve individual price changes for a specific product on a specific customer.
